The castle of Châteauneuf-en-Auxois is open to visitors all year round. Its architecture testifies to the great eras of history and in particular to medieval times. The defensive architecture of the 12th and 14th centuries is associated with dwellings built and decorated under Philippe Pot, Grand Lord of the Dukes of Burgundy, at the end of the 15th century. The interior decorations have also been preserved : medieval paving tiles, wall paintings from the 15th and 17th centuries, fine sculptures. It also benefits from quality development with an interpretation center retracing its history and a medieval-inspired garden.
