A building inspired by the Art Deco movement

The Consular Palace of Sète was inaugurated in 1928 and today it is a flagship monument of the city. Built in a style with Art Deco accents, it presents many touches belonging to this architectural movement. The Art Deco style emerged in the 1910s and reached its peak in the 1930s. This building is a true demonstration of the opulence of the merchants and traders of the city at the time.
