The clock tower of Ménerbes stands in the heart of the historic center of the village of the Vaucluse department. Its mechanism consisted of a weight system that the clock foreman had to wind up to punctuate the important moments of local life. The belfry, crowned with a wrought iron campanile surrounded and surmounted by five crosses, was rebuilt at the end of the 16th century.
