In order to reach the beach of Vaucottes, visitors have to go through the Bois des Hogues (Hogues Wood), coming from Vattetot-sur-Mer, and go down the small road that splits the cliff. On both sides, villas in Neo-Norman style are scattered on the slopes and above the cliffs. Among them is the Villa Marie-Louise, the privileged stay of the writer Maurice Leblanc, author of the Arsène Lupin's adventures, which he wrote in Normandy.
