Long of 2.7 mi (4.5 km), Pampelonne beach is divided into seven main sectors, most of which correspond to the names of the routes providing access to them. Walkers thus encounter, from north to south, the sectors of Tahiti accessible by Route de Tahiti, Moulins by Chemin des Moulins, Tamaris by Route des Tamaris, Patch by Boulevard Patch, Épi by Route de l'Épi, and Bonne Terrasse by Route de Bonne Terrasse. Only the so-called Campings sector, located between Tamaris and Patch, is not linked to any access road.
