A basilica with two bell towers
0
0
Two bell towers rise on either side of the early 19th-century Baroque facade of the Saint-Michel basilica in Menton. The lower of the two, to the east, is a remnant from an older church. Known as the Clock Tower, it rises to 114 ft (35 m), and its square base dates from the 15th century. As for the 173 ft high (53 m) Campanin, it was erected west of the Saint-Michel basilica's facade between 1701 and 1703.
