9 centuries of architecture

Clos de Vougeot Castle is an architectural jewel. In the 12th century, to build it, the Cistercian monks extracted limestone from the Vougeot quarry and cut down the oak trees in the Morvan forests. Today, 900 years later, it remains a majestic building.
