With its 372 miles (600 km) of coastline bordering the English Channel, Normandy opens onto the busiest maritime axis in the world. The Norman coast stretches from Le Tréport to Mont-Saint-Michel and from the Côte d'Albâtre (Alabaster Coast) to the Côte des Baies (Bays Coast) over the four Norman departments of Calvados, Manche, Seine-Maritime, and Eure.
