What do giraffe, polar bear and okapi have in common?
2
0
They all three have blue tongues and are not the only animals to have this specificity. Very exposed to the sun, the giraffe's tongue is blue in color to allow it to avoid sunburn. For its part, thanks to its blue tongue, the polar bear absorbs the sun's rays to warm itself. This blue color has several roles depending on the species and remains a great mystery to scientists to this day.
