A new penguin species was discovered by children!
In 2006, in New Zealand, a group of young school kids took part in an outing around the theme of biodiversity. They discover a fossil that seems intriguing. A few days ago and after several years of study, this fossil turns out to be the skeleton of a giant penguin with long legs. A species of penguin then-unknown within the scientific community.
