It is in the forest park of Zhangjiajie (China) that we find this sandstone forest suspended between heaven and earth. The site covers an area of 397.5 km². This world's unique park offers a panoramic view of an incredibly dense forest composed of about 3100 sandstone peaks, some reach more than 200m in height. This place served as an inspiration to James Cameron for his movie Avatar (2009).
