A bacterium to help recycling
1
0
This process is entirely natural. German scientists from Helmoltz in Leipzig made an unexpected discovery: a bacterium, especially present in recycling centers, would feed on polyurethane plastic and would be able to break it down and therefore recycle it. This scientific discovery would be essential for the recycling of plastic. A case to follow closely. Photo credit: Sylvain Girardot / The Explorers
