An eco-responsible football field made from olives pits!

The city of La Ciotat (France) has inaugurated a new football field. The latter is one of a kind. The terrain remains synthetic. However, in place of the rubber granules which are used as stockings in the ground, the company Méditerranée Environment has replaced them with crushed olive pits. Thus, 60 million olives were collected from Provencal producers.
