A sixth ocean is being created in Africa

It could appear in 10 million years ... In the Afar desert, in Ethopia (East Africa), an ocean is being created. The Afar Desert is at the junction of three moving tectonic plates that have formed a fault that today extends nearly 60 km and 10 m deep. This loophole continues to widen. According to scientists, we are witnessing the birth of an ocean. This geological episode would be comparable to that of the birth of the Atlantic Ocean.
