18-year-old Fionn Ferreira Fionn Ferreira has developed a new technology to remove micro-plastics from the oceans. Using oil and magnetic liquid, micro-plastics cling to a magnet. Ferreira hopes to advance this technology until it can be implemented in wastewater treatment plants before micro-plastics reach the oceans.
