A boat without a captain!
2
0
Without humans on board, this boat will be able to go to hostile areas never studied by humans. The Mayflower 400 is the world's first smart boat. This 15-meter trimaran, equipped with solar panels and without a captain on board, will leave Plymouth Bay (England) at the end of May for the United States. The goal: to detect marine mammals, to recognize them but also to analyze the chemical composition of the water, to measure the sea level, and to take samples in search of microplastics.
