The Congolese giant toad shares its habitat with the most dangerous snakes of Africa. It can run into the water cobra, the Naja annulata, which can measure up to 2.7 m and whose venom is dangerously neurotoxic. To deceive predators, this amphibian has learned to pretend to be a poisonous viper from Gabon.
