This jellyfish would be immortal

It measures 5 mm but would hold the keys to immortality. The jellyfish Turritopsis nutricula thwarts aging by falling back to the age of childhood as it ages. Biologically, it would be immortal. Naturally, a cnidarian takes the form of a polyp and then that of a jellyfish. However the Turritopsis nutricula takes the form of a polyp, then a jellyfish, then a polyp again, and so on. An eternal life cycle that intrigues many researchers.
