This incredible frog freezes in winter

0
The wood frog lives in Alaska, in the United States. In this region of the world, winter temperatures are harsh. To survive, the wood frog has found the solution. The amphibian buries itself and is frozen for almost two months. It suspends all its vital functions (breathing and blood circulation). It survives thanks to large reserves of glucose stored in the liver and wakes up when spring comes.
