It is an exception. At a time when the threats weigh more and more on the coral reefs, that of Tubbataha seems to escape any form of danger. Located in a marine park in the Philippines (Southeast Asia), this coral reef is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 600 species of fish and 360 species of corals inhabit these seabeds, half of the species known in the world. The isolation of this reef, far from any human presence, partly explains its great preservation.
