The first 100% female scientific mission to Svalbard
2
0
In April 2021, an international team of 6 women scientists and explorers will embark, on skis, on a 450-kilometer expedition lasting 4 weeks in Svalbard (northern Norway). Carbon neutral, the mission of these scientists is to analyze snow samples and thus measure the effects of climate change in the region. Located 1,000 kilometers from the North Pole, Svalbard is a region that is heating up seven times faster than the rest of the world.
