He eats whole eggs. The egg-eating rhombic is a species of snake with a very particular diet. It feeds exclusively on bird eggs. For each egg eaten, the process takes two hours. The snake wraps its mouth around the egg, the latter ends up sliding to the bottom of its esophagus where the vertebrae must like teeth to crush it.
