Strong like a whale!

It never gets sick. It cannot have cancer or any other disease related to the aging of its cells. Thanks to the strength of its feelings, the bowhead whale (Balaena mysticetus) is one of the animals that lives the longest in the world. On average, it can live up to 200 years. Following appropriate studies on the animal's genome, the bowhead whale has mutations that allowed it to create antitumor mechanisms. Scientists do not yet know the origin of these mutations.
