Swiss pilots and inventors Bernard Piccard and André Borschberg have been working on the Solar Impulse project for more than ten years. In 2015, they make the first round of the world aboard a plane powered only by solar energy. The idea is to promote clean energy in the aviation sector and, eventually, propose commercial flights.
