The sea slug Siphopteron Makisig has a more surprising sexuality than its delicate appearance might suggest. As long as your thumb, this mollusc is hermaphroditic. It has both male and female sex organs but is unable to self-fertilize. To reproduce, a third-party slug deposits sperm in the female parts of its partner. After copulation, the slug removes its penis and grows a new one within 24 hours.
