Saving seahorses in the Mediterranean
6
0
It is an emblematic species of Mediterranean funds. The seahorse is threatened with extinction due to the loss and degradation of its habitat. A campaign to reintroduce the species has just been launched off the Principality of Monaco (Western Europe). Seven nine-month-old seahorses have been reintroduced to Mediterranean waters to monitor and analyze their reproduction. This follow-up will last 5 years. This action is associated by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco.
