Leatherback turtle is back in Thailand!
6
0
It hadn't happened in five years! Eleven leatherback turtle nests have just been spotted on Thai beaches. The leatherback sea turtle, the largest species of sea turtle, is threatened with extinction in Thailand and is included in the list of globally vulnerable species. Usually threatened by the fishing industry and the presence of man in general, these turtles currently enjoy great tranquility due to the confinement of the world's population.
