What is the permanent snow line?

It is also called permanent snow. Eternal snow refers to the snow cover on the peaks that does not melt, even in summer. Posted at a minimum altitude of 2,500 meters, this snow cover accumulates, piles up, compacts, and ends up being welded into a mass of ice. All of the eternal snow then forms a glacier. Unfortunately, for several years, this eternal snow has tended to disappear under the effect of global warming. Let's hope that the ephemeral does not come to replace the eternal.
