What is seaweed?
The seaweed is a plant organism that lives mainly in an aquatic environment and which is capable of carrying out photosynthesis. There are thousands of species of seaweed. Some are edible for humans or animals and are full of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Many contain anti-inflammatory or anti-microbial agents. The Romans used them to treat wounds and burns.
