Oceanium, a senegalese association against plastic waste

Dakar-based association Oceanium is the oldest diving school in the country. Besides this activity, the association fights against the spread of plastic in the ocean. It was created in 1984 by Haïdar El Ali. He has been the Minister of the environment of Senegal. Today, his son and daughter took over. Thanks to their actions, the coast has reforested and the mangrove is protected.
