22,000 birds saved this year. This is the happy result of a vast program to reduce seabird deaths from fishing in Namibia (West Africa) Fishing techniques were killing many birds including endangered species such as the Albatross Atlantic Yellow-nosed. Thanks to new accessories, seabirds avoid the paths used by fishing trawlers.
