Mozambique: the revival of Gorongosa National Park
3
0
Mozambique's Gorongosa National Park is one of the finest examples of restoring an endangered ecosystem. Many species have been reintroduced, including large mammals. After years of conflict in the country, the Mozambican government and the American Carr Foundation signed in 2008 a 20-year public-private partnership to save the park. In 2018, the government extends this agreement for 25 years.
