Melati Wijsen, emblematic figure of the protection of Bali

At the age of 9, Melati Wijsen began to protect and safeguard her island Bali (Indonesia). Passionate about protecting the ocean, she created the association Bye Bye Plastic Bags with her younger sister. Following a major awareness and education campaign in schools on the island, she pulls out of the governor's part of Bali a ban on the marketing of single-use plastic bags on the island.
