The herbivores are more threatened than the carnivores

They are much less numerous but much more threatened. According to a recent study conducted by researchers at the State University of Utah (United States), in the world, 25% of herbivores are threatened with extinction against 17% of omnivores and 15% of predatory carnivores. Herbivores are more affected by the presence of invasive species or habitat degradation.
