0
Fabien Cousteau, the grandson of Commander Cousteau (one of the greatest French oceanographic explorers), has a incredible project: to create an international research base underwater. Named Proteus, this submerged research station will be the largest submarine base ever designed. Located in the depths of the Caribbean Sea, off the island of Curaçao, Proteus will be able to accommodate 12 scientists on board. The goal: to study the effects of climate change more quickly and more closely. abien Cousteau hopes for an opening within three years.
