The blackest plumage in the world
The superb bird of paradise is a species of bird that lives in Southeast Asia. It is the darkest plumed bird in the world. His crown and breastplate are green, but the rest of his body is black in color. Some superb birds of paradise manage to absorb 99.95% of visible light. A genetic capacity which, according to some scientists, is more a weapon of seduction than of camouflage.
