Air quality improves for countries in containment

Today, nearly one billion people are in containment worldwide due to the coronavirus pandemic. This confinement imposed in many countries has consequences for air quality. NASA and the European Space Agency note drastic reductions in the level of nitrogen dioxide in the atmosphere in certain Chinese regions but also in the north of Italy and in Spain.
