It is the largest living fish on Earth. The whale shark can reach 20 meters in length. In the Philippines (Asia), in the Ticao-Burias marine protected area, 19 new specimens have just been identified. There are 730 whale sharks in the region. A promising increase due to the efforts of local populations to protect the trial.
