True splendor of biodiversity, the island of Vaadhoo in the Maldives amazes by its paradisiacal aspect. At nightfall, the sea glitters with an electric blue. This incredible phenomenon occurs thanks to the presence of bioluminescent phytoplankton in the water. Once agitated by the waves, they light up thus giving the beach its specific character.
