Giraffes sleep two hours per day!
It is one of the least sleeping animals in the world. On average, the giraffe sleeps two hours a day. Its sleep time ranges from 30 minutes to 4 hours. Until the 1950s, researchers believed that she did not sleep at all. The giraffe dozes standing or then contorts its neck and goes to the ground. Photo credit: Ben Thouard / The Explorers
