In 2006, a pizzly was observed for the first time in the wild. The pizzly was born from the breeding between a grizzly and a polar bear. Usually, these two species do not interbreed. The grizzly, a subspecies of the brown bear, lives in the interior of the American continent. The polar bear lives on the ice floe. Due to global warming, their ranges overlap more and more frequently. The question the scientific community is asking is: will the pizzly be able to adapt and survive the next consequences of climate change? To be continued...
