The antelope that thinks she's a giraffe

Waller's gazelle is also nicknamed the giraffe antelope. She owes this nickname to her large neck which is reminiscent of that of a giraffe. Waller's gazelle lives in the arid regions of East Africa, mainly in Kenya and Tanzania. Thanks to its long neck and long legs, it can stand on its hind legs to pick leaves from trees. An ability that most other antelope species lack. Waller's gazelle is a species considered moderately endangered. Its main threats are habitat degradation and hunting.
