Indonesia, a biodiversity heaven
Indonesia is home to around 20% of the world's biodiversity. Tropical forests are numerous in the country and form the third largest reservoir of tropical forests in the world. The archipelago represents about 2% of the globe's surface but has 10% of plant species and 12% of mammal species. Photo credit: Valentin Pacaut
