South Africa is home to 70% of the world's rhino population. In recent years, one of its subspecies, the white rhinoceros, has been seriously threatened by intensive poaching. To save the species, John Hume created 15 years ago the world's largest rhino farm. 1,500 individuals populate its lands. The goal: protect the rhino from poaching. To stimulate the species' reproduction in the wild, the private owner decided to release a hundred individuals a year.
