Extinction of critically endangered birds has decreased by 40%
A study carried out by the association BirdLife International notes that, for three decades, the actions of the fight for the protection of the birds allowed a reduction of 40% of the rate of extinction of the species. As a result, critically endangered species are twice as likely to improve their status as they are to be lost. Photo credit: Ben Thouard / The Explorers
