Threatened with extinction due to coal and palm oil mining, the Dulan Forest is now fully protected. Thanks to the success of a call for donations, the Kalaweit association announced that the Dulan forest, located in Borneo (Southeast Asia), was no longer threatened. The association was able to buy the entire 1,500 hectares of the forest. The Dulan forest is home to a hundred orangutans, a hundred gibbons and thousands of other animals (coconut bears, clouded leopards, langurs, crab-eating macaques, hog-tailed macaques, sambar deer, etc.) of animals that are now out of danger!
