Plastic pollution is one of today's major scourges. In Cameroon (West Africa), the Madiba and Nature association has decided to turn this scourge into an opportunity for the development of the city of Douala. The association's volunteers collect plastic bottles in the streets of the capital and build canoes with these materials.
