What do the Iberian lynx, California condor and pygmy pig have in common? According to a latest study published by the University of Newcastle and BirdLife International, these are three of the 48 animal species that have been saved worldwide thanks to numerous conservation efforts carried out since 1993. This year corresponds to the entry into force of the Convention United Nations on Biological Diversity.
