Cyborg jellyfish to map the oceans

American researchers from Stanford and Caltech University have developed new technology to explore the oceans. By installing electronic prostheses on jellyfish, the engineers realized that the jellyfish swim three times faster and do not spend much more energy. The researchers intend to be able to map the oceans faster and more efficiently.
