In Klettsvik Bay, off the south coast of Iceland (Europe), a marine sanctuary has been created to accommodate beluga whales that previously evolved in captivity. Little White and Little Gray are the first two residents of this sanctuary. These two cetaceans have lived most of their lives in captivity in the Shanghai aquarium. The sanctuary hopes to welcome more than 3,000 belugas in the future. Photo credit: SEA LIFE TRUST Beluga Whale Sanctuary
